My take on Meat Smith : Before the lockdown I went to meat smith with a my colleague and I must say their prepared meat order was so juicy and spicy that I couldn‘t stop eating. Oh well that’s because I’m a big fan of spicy. The food quality deserves pricing as the service is also warm and efficient.

3. Tian Tian, Maxwell Food Centre, Chinatown

Anyone on the hunt for all-rounder eats in Singapore would have definitely come across Maxwell food centre. Maxwell Food Centre is the most versatile and convenient hawker centre known for its different varieties of local delights, delicious but cheap food in Singapore. Plattering traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice with smoothies. But I got mine with soursop.

Menu: Tian Tian Chicken Rice, chicken drumstick rice, beansprouts with cuttlefish, claws, and wings.

My take on Tian Tian, Maxwell food centre: Lucky me when I reached I did not queue that long. I had the chicken rice with a steamed chicken wing. The chicken slice a bit thick for my like. The rice was well seasoned. Price above average.

My take on Makansutra Gluttons Bay: Who won‘t enjoy a beautiful marine bay view with a plate of their favourite seafood? Hands down the best seafood they offer with friendly and professional services. I ate at this reasonably priced hawker food centre with my family and packed their delicious oysters on my way back home.

5. Ya Kun Kaya

The household of ya kun kaya has established many branches at different places in Singapore but my favorite one is situated in the heart of Chinatown, serving local breakfast for the crowd that sit out and enjoy the delicious food every morning at the shady terrace of this place. Presenting with a cup of coffee and a plate of toast filled with kaya coconut jam, two half-cooked eggs is a way of starting their day.

Bricklane is a picturesque place located in the heart of SMU campus that serves a dual purpose by being a restaurant at day time and a bar by night. It is also very convenient for students of Li Ka Shing library to stop by for a quick bite of healthy protein bowls after their study sessions.

This food centre promises more than just delicious food but also a local flair that ensures to excite any foodie. the food centre serves up one of the most fulfilling and mouth-watering oyster omelettes, BBQ chicken wings, beers, and the list goes on.

Menu: Hup Kee Fried Oyster Omelette, minced meat noodles, hajah monah chicken, bee heng popiah, cold and hot dessert, and guan kee grilled seafood.

My take on Newton Circus Food Centre: As seen on “Crazy Rich Asians” I went there with the lively company. This food centre is all well-maintained and clean providing the tastiest food. I super love the stingray, and the taste of fried carrot cake is my like. Their service and food are off the charts.
